Why am I paying tax on shipping and handling?

State tax regulations require that we collect sales tax on shipping and handling where applicable. All sales taxes that are collected are paid to the state where the tax is collected and merchandise has been shipped.

How is sales tax determined?

The sales tax rate and imposition is determined by the location where the merchandise is being shipped.

Orders from international customers are welcomed and can be made via our website for most countries. If you have difficulty placing an order or have any concerns, please E mail us at and we will be happy to help.

Tariffs Shipping Times & Duties:

Shipping options for International orders are in the Payment and Shipping Section. Tariffs and delivery times will vary depending the weight and size of order, together with the country of delivery.

Customs and Import Duties:

(*). Import Duty

We have no knowledge or control over any import taxes that might be applied by your country's Customs. If any taxes are applied, this usually happens when the order reaches the destination country and has to be paid by the customer directly to customs.

  • Your order may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country.
  • Her Tuxedo ships your package DDU, "duties and taxes unpaid", and does not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs.
